Hutch police: Kansas man caught with 90 pounds of marijuana

HUTCHINSON — A 32-year-old Hutchinson man is free on bond after Reno County Drug Unit officers served a search warrant on a home in the 300 block of East F on Thursday evening.

Officers reported finding more than 90 pounds of marijuana in brick form. The drugs are believed to be from Mexico with a street value of over $80,000.

In addition to the brick marijuana, officers reportedly found numerous containers of high-grade marijuana, packaging materials, a digital scale and some weapons

Gerardo Saucedo was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package and no tax stamp.

Saucedo is free on an $8,500 bond and is expected to make a court appearance on the arrest next week.
