The president of Fort Hays State University’s Student Government Association was arrested last week on suspicion of driving under the influence, his second arrest this school year.

Chris Roberts, 24, Hays, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. April 25 at the intersection of Seventh and Ash streets on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and transporting an open container of alcohol.
Roberts also was arrested in mid-February on allegations of domestic battery after an altercation at his home. He was re-elected to a second term as SGA president earlier this month by the FHSU student body.
