The TMP-Marian girls’ soccer team improved to 5-2-1 with a 3-0 shutout of winless Great Bend Monday at the Bickle/Schmidt Sports Complex.

Sophomore Bailey Hageman scored two of the Monarchs goals, all in the first half. Her first goal came at the 35:02 mark. The second goal came halfway through the first half on a pass from sophomore Annaka Applequist. The Monarchs final goal took place with 45 seconds left in the half when Tyra Younie found Alyssa Keil in front of the net.

The Monarchs are off until Monday when they travel to Wichita Word of Life.
