Fort Hays State’s Cooper Langley earned his second all-region honor as a designated hitter on Thursday, named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-Central Region Second Team.
Langley adds the honor to his All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection and Daktronics All-Central Regional Second Team selection at designated hitter.
Langley started 44 games for the Tigers in 2014 with 75 percent of the starts coming at designated hitter, the rest at first base. He batted .335 and led the team in extra-base hits with 24, pounding out 19 doubles and five home runs.
