Fort Hays State junior sprinter Samantha Woodburn finished 14th in the prelims of the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Allendale, Mich., on Friday. She posted a time of 24.34 seconds, .29 seconds off the ninth-place finisher.

Woodburn finished 14th in both the 100 and 200-meter prelims at the NCAA Championships. She set new school records in both events this year (11.71 seconds in the 100 and 23.95 seconds in the 200) and earned All-MIAA honors in both events.
