Beginning Monday, the city of Hays will begin a series of seal coat projects on city streets.

Affected streets will be restricted to the traveling public for approximately one month for repairs. They include Newton Circle, 45th Street, Larned Circle, Jefferson, Augusta (south of 27th), Indian Trail (27th to 33rd), Trinity Drive, Sternberg Drive, 29th Street, Copper Creek, East 14th (along Tallgrass) and Tallgrass Drive.

Signs will be in place to direct the traveling public. Motorists are advised to use caution and, if at all possible, avoid these areas.
