BELOIT, Kan—A Kansas man was injured in a motorcycle accident at 12:20 p.m. on Friday in Mitchell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Yamaha driven by Ricky C. Boaldin, 53, Silver Lake, was westbound on U.S. 24 five miles east of Beloit.

The motorcycle entered the north ditch and struck a hole. This caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Boaldin was transported to Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

The KHP reported he was wearing a helmet at the time if the accident.
