MEDORA, Kan.-Just after 6 p.m. on Saturday first responders were called to the 9300 block of North K-61.

The dispatch report was for a vehicle accident with the occupant trapped and in the water.

However, when they arrived, the driver was safely out of the vehicle with the assistance of bystanders.

The driver was the only occupant and was not injured. The name of that driver has not been released.

Authorities have also not released details on how the vehicle ended up in the water. Check Hays Post for more information as it becomes available.
