FHSU alum named president of Great Bend bank office

GREAT BEND — Central National Bank announced this week Chad Steffan has been named president and commercial/ag lender for the new Great Bend lending services office, scheduled to open this month.

He joins Central National Bank with nearly 20 years of banking experience and has been in commercial and agricultural lending since the late 1990s.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chad to the Central National Bank team,” said CEO Ed Rolfs. “His leadership, commitment to the community, and past experience will be a benefit to our organization and to Great Bend.”

Steffan attended Fort Hays State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Central National Bank is a family and employee-owned bank based out of Junction City. Founded in 1884, Central National Bank has bank locations in 21 communities across Kansas and Nebraska.
