SALINA- A woman from Alabama was injured just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday when the car she was riding in hit a deer.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford passenger car driven by Morgan Fouliard, 42, Enterprise, AL., was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Salina in the driving lane when a southbound deer crossed the interstate. The vehicle hit the deer.
A passenger in the Ford Mary Fouliard, 44, Enterprise, AL., was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center. The driver and two children in the Ford were not injured.
The KHP reported they were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
