SALINA — An argument early Saturday morning resulted in the arrest of a Salina woman on suspicion of aggravated battery.

Tamatha Lewis, 43, is alleged to have hit a 59-year-old man with an axe just after 2 a.m. at a home in the 700 block of North Front.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of about a 1-inch cut on the head.
