SALINA-  Two people from Hays were injured in a collision just after 1:30 p.m. Monday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Dodge Caliber driven by Sarah K. Brown, 61, Republic, was southbound on Interstate 135 north of State Street.

The vehicle hydroplaned, crossed the median and struck a northbound 2002 Chrysler Voyager driven by Larry E. Schrant, 55, Hays.

Schrant and a passenger in the Chrysler Teresa M. Schrant. 55, Hays, were transported to Salina Regional Health Center.

The KHP report says Brown was possibly injured but does not indicate where she was treated.

The KHP reported everyone was properly restrained at the time of the collision.
