OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) — Police in a Kansas City suburb are investigating the death of a man as a homicide.

Officers found a man dead at his Overland Park home on Sunday. Neighbors had called after noticing a strong smell and a large number of his flies.

Overland Park police say the man’s body had been inside the home for several days.

No further information was released.
