LUCAS — A city of Lucas employee in Lucas was injured while working on power lines Wednesday morning.

The employee was transported to Russell Regional Hospital. Officials with the Russell County Sheriff’s office reported additional details on the accident and the condition of the victim would be released by the city of Lucus.
