
The storms that rolled across the state Wednesday night are responsible for bringing more much-needed rain and doing some damage.
The National Weather Service will investigate whether a possible tornado did damage to buildings in Logan County, where a barn and garage were heavily damaged.

The wind in Rush County blew six empty train cars off the tracks in downtown La Crosse. No roads were blocked. The Rush County Sheriff’s office is expected to release additional information Thursday. There were no injuries.
Marble- and quarter-size hail was reported in western Ellis County, and golf ball-size hail was reported in southern Rooks County.
Wind gusts over 90 mph were reported in Ness County, while gusts over 60 mph were reported in Scott and Barber counties.
