The Hays Police Department is investigating a series of tire slashings occurring in the parking lot of Midway Apartments at 20th and Vine streets last week.

According to Chief of Police Don Schleibler, surveillance footage from Thursday night shows two white males slashing seven tires on four cars just after 2:30 a.m.

Schleibler said the men are of  average height and build.
