Crews still were busy cleaning up Monday after a tornado and high winds caused damage in Rooks County over the weekend.

According to Rooks County Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Post, there was one confirmed tornado that touched down north of Webster Reservoir at approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The tornado knocked down a power pole.
The second round of storms brought wind damage across much of the county between 10 and 10:30 p.m.
Post said there were reports of downed trees and power lines, as well as damage to vehicles and buildings. The strong winds also toppled an oil derrick.
By Monday afternoon, Post added, power was restored to most affected areas.
