OAKLEY — A Kansas man was killed when his truck was hit by a train in Logan County on Wednesday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Dodge Ram driven by Adam S. Meska, 29, Winona, was southbound on Front Street in Page City.

The vehicle was crossing the railroad tracks and was struck by an eastbound Union Pacific train.

Meska was transported to Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home.
