RUSSELL — The city of Russell began mosquito control within city limits Wednesday evening. Recent rains have prompted the need. The fogging will continue Thursday during the late evening hours and will continue as necessary.

City officials ask residents to do their part to remove any unnecessary standing water and keep grass and vegetation low as possible to remove areas from becoming breeding grounds.
