RUSSELL — Three people were arrested in Russell County earlier this week after a three-month-long investigation by the Russell County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff’s department, in cooperation with the Russell Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, has been involved in an undercover drug investigation where officers purchased drugs from several people in the city and county of Russell.
According to the sheriff’s department, Steven Brock, Nick Clenney and Zach Beltz were arrested Monday on suspicion with selling narcotics to undercover officers.
A total of 13 grams of methamphetamine and marijuana reportedly was purchased during a number of undercover buys.
