Thomas More Prep-Marian
The TMP-Marian board has been studying buildings and facilities for several months. This includes all buildings including dormitories used for the resident student population.

During the June 19 meeting, the TMP-Marian board recommended to the Heartland Parish leaders that Marian Hall, the dormitory used to house the girls’ program, be closed as a dormitory for the 2014-15 school year. The recommendation is the result of information recently received regarding the electrical system in the building.
“Architectural and electrical system reports have identified needed improvements to accommodate the needs of our students living at Marian Hall,” said Father Daryl Olmstead, Pastoral Designate for the board. “We understand the timeline for making improvements to the electrical system cannot be completed by the Aug. 1 opening of the dorm.”
School leaders are evaluating options for housing the roughly two-dozen resident students enrolling this fall. This decision affects the girls’ dorm only. Nations Hall will be available for the boys’ program. Additional information will be shared as it is available.
