Hays police are investigating an alleged aggravated assault incident involving a gun Tuesday night.

Police were called to a disturbance on the 200 block of Ash shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday

According to Lt. Brandon Wright, there was apparently a short verbal disturbance between two acquaintances. During the argument, one allegedly brandished a gun.

The suspect’s name is not being released and has not been located at this time.
