GRINNELL- Two people were injured in an accident just after 12 p.m. Friday in Gove County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Silverado driven by Lorenz Roy Wahlers, 64, St. Louis, Mo., was eastbound on Interstate 70 one mile east of Grinnell.

The Silverado was passing a semi-truck and the camper trailer it was pulling started to fishtail due to the wind.

The driver lost control of the pickup and it rolled into the north ditch where it came to rest on its top.

Wahlers and a passenger in the truck Sharon R. Wahlers, 66, St. Louis were transported to Gove County Medical Center.

The KHP reported they were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
