The Ellis American Legion baseball finished 2-2 at the Garden City tournament over the weekend.

Ellis split the first two games of the tournament on Friday, losing to Columbine Colorado 7-6 and then downing Dodge City6-5.

On Saturday Ellis picked up an 11-3 win over Colby. Cole Pfeifer allowed three runs in six innings to pick up the win.

On Sunday Ellis wrapped up the tournament with an 8-5 loss to Cimarron.

Ellis will travel to Hays Wednesday to take on the Hays Monarchs.
