The Hays Eagles score four runs in the fourth inning then add two more in the sixth and beat Longmont-Erie (Colo.) 8-3 to advance to Sunday afternoon’s semifinals of the Wild West Fest tournament. The Eagles improve to 4-0 in the tourney and are now 21-6 overall. A win Sunday at the HHS Field would advance the Eagles to the tournament finals at 5pm at Larks Park.

Kade Parker picks up the complete game victory, allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out seven and walking only one.

Trenton Henningson went 3-for-3 and scored two runs while Jake Sedbrook went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. His two-run double highlighted the Eagles four–run fourth inning.
