TESCOTT- A motorcycle rider was injured in an accident just after 4 p.m. on Thursday in Lincoln County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Honda motorcycle driven by Seaborn R. Hall, 67, Brownville, NY., was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of Kansas 156 and struck a cooler that was on the inside passing lane.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and it came to rest in the median.

Hall was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

The KHP reported he was wearing a helmet.
