OAKLEY- One person was injured in an accident just before after 11:30 p.m. on Friday in Thomas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Ritchie, Jonathan Jared Ritchie, 28, Aurora, CO., was eastbound on Interstate 70 four miles north of Oakley.

The Vehicle attempted to exit at exit 70.

The vehicle left the roadway on the right side, the driver overcorrected to the left, the vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled onto its top.

A passenger in the Chevy Clorissa Rose Ritchlin, 22, Aurora, CO., was transported to Logan County Hospital.  The driver and a baby in the vehicle were not injured.

The KHP reported the adults were not wearing seat belts.
