SALINA- The older sister of a 13-year-old girl who was stabbed to death early last Friday morning has been charged with first degree murder.

14-Year-old Sierra R. Niehaus will have her first appearance in Saline County District Court on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m.

Sierra Niehaus is currently being held in the Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City.

She is accused of stabbing her younger sister Galazia Niehaus who died of stab wounds at a home in northwest Saline County. Law enforcement was made aware of the stabbing about 1:45a.m. Friday morning.
