TOPEKA- A Kansas teenager was injured in an accident just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in Shawnee County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1990 Ford Ranger driven by Cedrick Clark Swift, 19, Topeka, was northbound on U.S. 75 in Topeka. The vehicle drove off the roadway and into the ditch where  it rolled.

Swift was transported to St. Francis Health Center.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
