In a news release Thursday, Hays Medical Center announced the addition of new physicians to the medical staff.

Drs. Kayla Gray, Erin Hemphill and Roger Dietz recently have begun practicing in Hays. Hemphill and Gray are hospitalists, and Dietz is a pathologist.

Gray completed her medical studies at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Kansas City, Mo. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita.

Hemphill graduated from the University of  Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency at Wesley Family Medicine in Wichita.

Both physicians join the hospitalist program at HaysMed that specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital.

Dietz, a pathologist, graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City. He completed his pathology residency and cytopathology fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
