TOPEKA — Kansas Department of Health and Environment Secretary Dr. Robert Moser on Friday named Dr. Susan Mosier as the director of the Division of Health Care Finance at KDHE.

Mosier has been serving as the acting director of the health care finance division since May, when the previous director, Kari Bruffett, was named secretary of the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.

Mosier has been Medicaid director at KDHE since March 2012 and will continue in that role. She previously owned Mosier Eye Care in Manhattan and represented the 67th District in the Kansas House of Representatives.

The Division of Health Care Finance oversees state Medicaid finances.
