Business hours could be changing at some Ellis County offices.
At this week’s regular meeting the Ellis County Commission will discuss a resolution to change the hours of public access to administrative services at the 718 Main Building beginning January 2015.
The proposed hours would be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Employees would still work until 5p.m. allowing them an hour at the end of the work day to wrap up their day without the need for overtime.
The commission will also discuss resolutions dealing with open carry in county buildings and fireworks.
Monday’s meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Ellis County Courthouse Commission meeting room.
