GREAT BEND — At approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, the Great Bend Police Department, Barton County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol executed narcotic search warrants at 2421 Sixth Street and 520 Odell in Great Bend.
The warrants reportedly resulted in narcotics being seized and arrests.
At approximately 10 p.m., Great Bend Police Department Sgt. James Bachar conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 10th Street. Narcotics and a stolen 9 mm hand gun were located. Both male and female occupants of the vehicle were arrested on narcotic charges and the male was charged additionally with possession of stolen property. Both of these subjects were persons of interest in the earlier executed search warrant at 2421 Sixth Street.
Jessica Owen, Christina Chapman, Gregory Lee Becker and Amy Sneath — all of Great Bend — have been arrested on Barton County District Court cases for possession with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of distribution paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. All of their bonds are set at $100,000.
Reynaldo Martinez, Great Bend, was booked on Barton County District Court case for possession with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, criminal use of a weapon, no headlights, obstruction, no drivers license, illegal tags, no insurance. Martinez’s bond is set at $50,000.
Hernan Montez, Great Bend, was booked for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia with a bond set at $10,000.
The investigation continues with more arrests pending.
