LUCAS — The 10th annual Lucas Rural Fire Department Mud Run is scheduled for Aug. 30.

The event is the primary fundraiser for the department and will be held 5 miles north of Lucas on 202 Street and west 1.25 miles on North County Line Road.

Pits will open at 9 a.m., with races beginning at noon. Classes include OEM, Stock 1, Modified Stock, Modified, ATV four-wheel, ATV two-wheel, and Kids 12 and Under ATV 110cc or less.

Following the mud run, there will be a concert featuring Ricky Fugitt, who is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m.
