The Hays Public Library will be screening the PBS documentary “Defiant Requiem” at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Schmidt Gallery.

“Defiant Requiem” illuminates the extraordinary untold story of Jewish prisoners and their brave acts of resistance at the Terezin concentration camp during World War II. The documentary also tells the story of the man who brought this piece history to life again.
