The Hays chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will have a series of events Sept. 8.

From 6 to 7 p.m., the NAMI Connections Recovery Support Group will meet. From 7 to 8 p.m., special guest Ken Loos of High Plains Mental Health Center will present “The Many Faces of Depression.”

And, from 8 to 9 p.m., the Family “Care and Share” Support Group will meet. The group is for people caring for friends and loved ones with brain disorders.

The meetings will be at the Center for Life Experiences, 2900 Hall.
