SALINA — A 34-year-old woman told the Salina Police Department she was held against her will at a north Salina home last week.
Just after 10 p.m. Aug. 14, police were dispatched to the area of Harold and Haskett to a medical emergency.
They found an injured woman walking along the street. She told officers she had been held against her will at a home in the 700 block of North Front.
The woman said she had been beaten and punched over a three-day period, and at times lost consciousness. It’s not known how the woman was able to leave the home, and how she wound up in the southwest part of town.
She was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of bruising over most of her body, a cuts on a shoulder and back. Capt. Mike Sweeney said police are looking for a known suspect.
