Pending an interview by community corrections, District Judge Glen Braun on Wednesday agreed to lower a $200,000 bond for Charles Keiswetter to a $25,000 cash assurance. As a condition, Braun also warned Keiswetter he was not under any circumstances allowed to use any sort of computer, phone, or any other device that has Internet if he is released on bond.
Keiswetter, 25, was arrested this month by the Hays Police Department on suspicion of two counts of electronic solicitation and sexual exploitation of a child after a parent reported finding inappropriate content on their child’s social media.
Keiswetter’s attorney told the court he did not believe the defendant was a flight risk due to the amount of money he has available.
No trial date has been set.
