SALINA — The Salina Police Department arrested a 36-year-old man Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a girl under the age of 14.

Capt. Chris Trocheck said Suthep Khongngoen, is accused of inappropriate sexual contact with the girl at a central Salina home late Monday afternoon.

Khongngoen and the girl reportedly are acquainted. Trocheck said police were notified of the alleged incident Tuesday by the Kansas Department of Children and Families.
