WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Wichita police say a woman involved in a car crash that injured three people stole the van of a Good Samaritan who stopped to help.

Sgt. Bob Gulliver says a truck hit a car and caused it to roll over. Two people were pinned in the wreckage. He says the truck driver stole the van and left the scene. She was arrested after crashing the van.

A 7-year-old boy and a 32-year-old woman were hospitalized. Their conditions are unclear. Police say a third person suffered minor injuries.

They say they’re investigating why the woman stole the van.
