GRAINFIELD — A woman was injured in a motorcycle accident just before 5:30 p.m. Monday in Gove County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Harley Davidson driven by Lori Ann Mauldin, 48, Jacksonville, Fla., was eastbound on Interstate 70 taking exit 93 just south of Grainfield.

The rider lost control in loose gravel and the motorcycle fell over on her.

Mauldin was transported to Gove County Medical Center.

The KHP reported it was unknown if she was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
