Four Central Kansas residents were arrested in McCracken earlier this week on drug related charges.

According to a release from Ellis County Undersheriff Bruce Hertel, on Monday search warrants were served in two locations in McCracken resulting in four arrests on suspicion of distribution and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Arrested were 32-year old Cy Umboltz and 45-year old Jamie Joy Dinges both of Hays, Dale Sander, age 56 of Victoria and 37-year old Christin Lochmann-Baxter of McCracken.

The case has been referred to the Ellis County Attorney’s Office.

Officers from the Ellis County Drug Enforcement Unit, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Ellis County Sheriff’s Department, Hays Police Department and the Rush County Sheriff’s Department all took part in the investigation.
