Rain reports range from trace to nearly 6 inches in NW Kan.

A Wednesday night front brought even more precipitation to the region, reports of nearly an inch of rain near Ellis.

In Ellis County, most of the rain fell in the northwest portion of the county, with reports ranging from 0.63 to 0.94 inches from Ellis north. In the rest of the county, reports ranged from trace to 0.07 inches.

The narrow swatch of heavier rain also passed over Trego County from the southwest portion to the northeast. Reports there ranged from 2.37 inches to 0.07 inches in the far western portion of the county.

Gove County also topped the 2-inch mark, while a report from Rooks County showed a whopping 5.78 inches. Graham County also showed significant rainfall, with reports ranging from 2.10 to 4 inches.
