KHP: Two hospitalized after driver fails to yield

Screen Shot 2014-07-03 at 5.13.15 AMPRINCETON — Two Kansas drivers were injured in an accident just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Franklin County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Mary E. Harris, 79, Richmond, was westbound on John Brown Road in Princeton.

The Ford attempted a left hand turn and failed to yield to a 1994 Buick Century driven by Robert L. Morse, 49, Centerville, which was northbound on U.S. 59.

Harris and Morse were transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital.

The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
