NASHVILLE (AP) – Lynn Anderson is out of jail after being arrested for drunk driving. The Nashville Tennessean quotes police as saying Anderson showed “signs of impairment” after she was involved in a crash Thursday evening. A warrant says Anderson admitted to drinking and taking prescription medication. Jail officials say Anderson was released Friday on $5,000 bond and has a court date November 20. Anderson says in a statement she is “deeply sorry” for anyone she has harmed. Anderson’s biggest hit was “Rose Garden” in 1970.
