Photographers of every skill level are invited to take part will take part in a local version of a global event next month.

The annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk is scheduled for noon Oct. 11 at the Hays Public Library.

According to the Photowalk’s website, the event allows shooters of every skill level the chance to socialize, share and inspire one another.

While the event is free, participants are encouraged to donate to the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya.
