NEW YORK (AP) – Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason says their upcoming record is a tribute to keyboardist Rick Wright.
He says “The Endless River” is a good way of seeing how Wright’s playing was at the heart of the Pink Floyd sound.
Pink Floyd revealed the cover art on buildings in 10 cities, including New York and Los Angeles.
It shows a man rowing a boat through clouds.
The album features tracks that were originally part of the 1993 “Division Bell” sessions, with new and re-recorded parts.
“The Endless River” comes out November 10. Wright died in 2008.
