OAKLEY — The 43rd annual Kansas State Cornhusking Contest is scheduled for Oct. 11.

Events will include rural life demonstration vendor fair, pumpkin carving and decorating contest, corn ear toss, biggest and oddest shaped pumpkin contest, and corn pile money hunt.
