SOLOMON — An employee of Solomon Corp. suffered a broken arm after an industrial accident just after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Mike Dahl, corporate environmental and safety manager for the oilfield services business, said the employee was cutting a transformer pad when the side blew out.
“He inerted it — a process that uses industrial gas — for the required time, so we are not sure what happened,” Dahl explained. “The employee was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center. We are busy investigating to determine what caused the accident.”
