Kennedy Berkley Yarnevich & Williamson Chtd. has added attorney Heather R. Fletcher to its Hays office.
Fletcher, Russell, is a criminal defense attorney representing individuals who have been charged with crimes ranging from low- to high-level offenses for both misdemeanors and felonies. She also handles family and juvenile cases such as juvenile offenders and protection from abuse and stalking.
“Kennedy Berkley is always looking for bright and aggressive attorneys to add to our team,” said Managing Partner James R. Angell. “With Fletcher’s background and experience she will provide a unique insight for her clients and expand the services provided by the firm. She is an excellent addition to the Hays office.”
Before practicing law, Fletcher worked at the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, and then spent 10 years at Central Kansas Community Corrections. There she helped rehabilitate high-risk offenders and supervised convicted felons while on probation.
“I am excited to be a part of the Kennedy Berkley team,” Fletcher said. “Working for Kennedy Berkley allows me to use their vast resources to build my practice while providing real value to my clients.”
Kennedy Berkley has offices in Salina, Hays and Olathe.
